Floral Wedding Cake

This cake is a two tiered sponge cake filled and covered with vanilla butter cream.
Each cake consists of one layer of white sponge, one of pink sponge and one of yellow sponge.

Brown Ribbon Wedding Cake

This cake was made for a wedding to match an ivory and chocolate brown colour scheme.
The bottom tier was a round 10 inch cake with overlapped sections of ivory fondant. I measured the circumference of the cake and divided it into inch wide sections. Daisy Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was made for a summer wedding with the reception in a marquee decorated with daisies and some wild flowers.
The main colour on the cake is pale eucalyptus. It has pale yellow and white daisies and brush embroidery decorations.

I entered this miniature wedding cake in the annual Squires Kitchen Exhibition Competition.
There was a lot of trial and error involved with this cake, mainly because of the free standing collar around the cake. I originally wanted it to be constructed from the ribbons used on the top tier of the cake. Roses and Ribbon Birthday Cake

This cake was made for a 50th birthday celebration. It is designed to resemble a bunch of flowers wrapped and tied with a bow.
