Giraffe Birthday Cake
This is one of the many cakes I have made recently that I am only just finding time to post on my blog.
I love this cake - the giraffe on it is definately a girl and very posh I think.
It was made for a lady who loves giraffes and sponsors one.
I made a jungle scene to run around the side of the cake.
I do know that giraffes don’t actually live in deep jungles (they would be forever getting their necks stuck in vines) but when making a cake I am happy to use a bit of artistic licence if I think it looks right.
I really enjoyed making this cake because of all the colours, shapes and textures.
I can really go to town with cakes like this and use all those tools that rarely come out but are perfect for the effects I wanted to create on this cake.
It is a bit like getting all of Dexter’s (my little boy) play doh out and just having fun.

it,s a beautiful care and I would love to have for my son,s 1st birthday it,s a jungle themed party, but l’d love a lion and leopard around the cake as well.

This giraffe cake is amazing and beautiful, never seen anything like this, your very creative, ‘m so fastinated with Giraffe and would love giraffe on our wedding cake this year, do u think we should?
