Hi,just happened upon your post whilst researching cakes online
I am a self taught cake maker,like you I studied art,(ceramics) and through motherhood have found my creative expression in cake making.I have made many quite varied and certainly whacky cakes over the years for family and friends birthdays weddings and parties.I f you are interested I could send you some pictures.I live near Tiptree so not that far away and have been thinking for ages to take my cake making that step further so maybe…..er(that ‘er’ was written by the cat!)Er..Time to end

I have just watched your winning episode on The Great Cake Bake and, literally was thinking to myself how much I wish that I lived on your side of the world!! You are an extremely talented decorator, and being self-taught myself, know the dedication and commitment that taking on such a task requires.
That being said, I wish you all the best and hope that you find your perfect match. Someone with whom you can build your business to it’s fullest potential. Again, if I were there, I have to say that I would be at your doorstep every day until you were to give me the opportunity!! LOL!! I love your style and the fact that you think “outside the box” when designing a cake. You are truly an inspiration. If you ever make it to this side of the pond, please feel free to look me up.
Further, I am looking into opening a baking supply store in my town. I would LOVE to have suppliers from the UK. If you could point me in the right direction for suppliers of tools/implements, pans, high quality ingredients, molds, edible dusting powders, and ANY thing else related to cake decorating and baking, I would be eternally grateful!!
