Blue & Ivory Wedding Cake

I love the colours and overall feel of this cake. It has a look of Wedgwood and ivory porcelain about it.

My clients liked the idea of the overlaid roses and knew the shade of blue they wanted on the cake.

The design of the cake incorporates this overlaid pattern and the overlapped ribbon effect.

Both of these elements add different textures whilst achieving a polished finish.

My clients provided the ribbon for their cake which matched really well with the sugarpaste.

The top tier of the cake has a ribbon and bow detail and this is repeated on the bottom tier but with the ribbon draping down the front of the cake.

This is a charming wedding cake which would work very well with a vintage style celebration.
